麦肯纳：我们本可以赢下曼联；要称赞球员因为早早丢球很容易崩盘

11月25日讯 英超第12轮，伊普斯维奇主场1-1战平曼联。赛后，伊镇主帅麦肯纳称赞了队员的表现，并表示球队本有机会取得胜利。

在接受BBC采访时，麦肯纳说道：“我们本可以赢得比赛，上半场我们处于优势地位，至少应该打成平局。下半场非常激烈，我们创造了几次绝佳机会，但防守时必须更加严守纪律。”

“换做其他的比赛，我们也许可以赢下比赛，但在早早丢球的情况下，我们有可能彻底失去对比赛的掌控，所以球员们的表现值得称赞。”

谈及开场不到两分钟便被进球，麦肯纳表示：“当我们遭遇挫折时，每个人都给出了非常好的反应，都在加倍努力做我们需要做的事情。随着比赛的进行，我们变得更有进攻性，也更加勇敢。”

麦肯纳曾在曼联工作多年，担任过索尔斯克亚的助教以及U18梯队教练。面对前东家有什么感受？麦肯纳回答道：“每个人都知道我和这家俱乐部的过往，但今天的重点是伊普斯维奇、是我们的球员，以及时隔22年球迷们再次欢迎曼联来到我们的球场，他们很好地展现了自己。”
